Pálinka is an art

Our first quality experience of high level fruit spirits? We won’t forget it, because thats where TRiSPiRiT idea was born! Happened in summer at 2013, at a famous spirit Manufacture, at Lake Balaton - Zamárdi. After the tastings, we decided: We found our own little fruit micro distillery, whose primary focus, is the spirit - making - first at our own pleasure - with the original three person combination.

Before our first successful distillation timeline, we had a lot of learning, mistakes and was preceded by many research (and nowadays also), and of course the experience of a Master distiller (The Daredevil from Zamárdi) also helped us on the road, to get here. Our spirits have been successful in our friends circle, which is why we decided, to share this experience of a wider audience. On April 19th 2016, with a new triple combination, we created: TRiSPiRiT Handicraft Distillery Ltd.

We have a minor confession to make. We are a pálinka snob. Well yes, we got high standards for most spirits & cocktails, but there are fantastic drinks, across the backbar shelves, for not much dollah in other categories. When it comes to our Pálinka (Fruit Brandy) we think, you get what you wish for.

The fruit, the care of the fruit and the delicacy of the distillation, and many working hours behind for the proper end product. Just repeating the Hungarian mantra of, “if the fruit is good enough for jam, then it’s good for pálinka,” is not much of a guide in our opinion. We do prefer to eat perfectly ripened fresh fruit anyway and that’s what will make a fabulous product. TRiSPiRiT is so called as our founders were, three souls in the spirit business, if you like this meaning. A very crucial part of the elegance and aromatics of a great pálinka is: 70% of the fruit, 20% of the right distillitaion technic, 10% of the distiller.
